MEDITATION
For the ones looking forward to expanding their spiritual practices, there are several events that include meditation and yoga in the city. This year, to celebrate Bogotá's birthday, a couple of thousand of people attended the YoMedito event at the former Bullfighting arena ("Plaza de Toros", which is now called "Plaza de Todos"). To me , it was a historical thing. Not only that place, which has been used for violence against animals for many years (for Bullfighting, what others see as art and I must respect), was then being used for ctreating ways to look within, to refelct on our own lives, and to try to find peace to, in turn, spread peace to the ones around us.
